My vision

Understanding dogs better to live better together.

Dogs have shared our lives for thousands of years. Yet today they live in a world designed primarily for humans, with routines, constraints and expectations they often have to adapt to.

My goal: to make knowledge about dogs available to as many people as possible

Many everyday difficulties simply come from a gap between what humans expect and what dogs are able to understand, experience or express.

Who am I?

Hi, I’m Laetitia :)

I’ve been surrounded by dogs since childhood and have always done everything I could to understand them better. Books, training courses, obedience classes… for years I’ve been taking notes and carefully gathering everything I learn about them.

Deeply moved by how many animals have needs that are misunderstood or not respected, I’ve long wanted to share this knowledge.

At first, in an illustrated book (a bit old-fashioned, books, apparently). Then, talking with dog professionals, I discovered a need: resources to extend their advice, which they rarely have time to create. The book idea then became WOOOOF.

This site brings together my two passions: dogs and graphic design. I create illustrated resources here to help professionals share their knowledge and help families understand their dog better.

What I love: simplifying complex topics

Easier for professionals

Finding the right words to share knowledge and challenge misconceptions isn’t always easy. Here you’ll find:

  • Reliable content
  • Easy to read and accessible to everyone
  • Respectful of the animal

Easier for human–dog pairs

I hope that by reading their behavior better and understanding their needs, we can achieve:

  • Fewer conflicts
  • Realistic expectations
  • Fewer dogs given up (I hope so with all my heart)

WOOOOF helps dog trainers, behaviorists and veterinarians share their knowledge of dogs.

A little extra in their support, so their advice stays within reach between two appointments.

These resources never replace professional support.

When a situation needs follow-up or may be linked to pain, the stories always point to the right professional.

And so that as many people as possible can learn at least the basics
